A New York City brunch destination has landed in Hell’s Kitchen. The Grey Dog Columbus Circle, which has just opened on W56th Street west of 8th Avenue, offers local diners and tourists its popular brunch, lunch and happy hour specials – along with something new: the restaurant’s first-ever dinner menu.

The restaurant brings life back to a space that has sat empty since Bricco Ristorante Italiano – famous for its lipstick-stained “ceiling of kisses” – closed in June 2019 after 23 years.

Brennan LaBrie

Brennan LaBrie is a Manhattan-based multimedia journalist who originally hails from Washington State. He began reporting in elementary school, when he published a handwritten weekly paper covering local news for three years, and reported on events like the 2010 Winter Olympics for TIME For Kids. He returned to journalism in college, reporting for the school paper and his hometown newspaper during summer breaks.
