STATEN ISLAND, N.Y — Staten Island Railway customers could experience delays this afternoon because of partially suspended service on the line.
According to a service alert posted by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority at 12:01 p.m. on Wednesday, trains are not running between the Great Kills and Eltingville stations.
Instead, the railway is running service in two sections. Trains are only running from Tottenville to Eltingville and then between St. George and Great Kills.
As of 12:28 p.m., the MTA service alert was updated to say that the disruption was due to signal problems at the Great Kills station.
