STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Notify NYC is warning of extensive westbound traffic delays on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway toward the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.
A crash is reported on the Staten Island-bound Gowanus Expressway near 86th Street and all lanes were closed starting around 8 a.m., according to 511NY
“Consider alternate routes and allow for additional travel time,” according to Notify NYC.
The NYPD is diverting all traffic to the 86th Street, according to an alert from the MTA.
