When it comes to technology, some advocates and industry insiders say the five boroughs are falling behind in using artificial intelligence to make city bureaucracy more efficient.
Andrew Rasiej, the founder and CEO of Civic Hall, a center for tech innovation and education in Manhattan, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to talk about what the incoming Mamdani administration can do to move the city’s technological infrastructure forward.
“This new mayor is the first digitally native mayor the city of New York has ever had. Which is an extraordinary opportunity because I believe our mayor-elect understands the power of technology and communication and potentially creating efficiency for the citizens of New York,” he said.
Rasiej is also the chairman emeritus at NY Tech Alliance, a nonprofit supporting the tech industry.
