ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A man wanted in a deadly October shooting in southwest Atlanta was arrested in New York City, according to police.
Around 10 p.m. on Oct. 18, Atlanta police said they responded to a person shot near a grocery store on 2070 Alison Court SW.
They found a 33-year-old man with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Atlanta News First is working to learn the victim’s identity.

On Friday, Atlanta police said 19-year-old Ranique Crawford was arrested the previous day in Brooklyn, New York, on charges of murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony.
He is awaiting extradition to Atlanta.
Police said the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, the New York City Police Department and the Atlanta Police Department’s Fugitive Unit worked together to capture Crawford.
Crawford is the second suspect arrested in the case.
Atlanta police previously said they arrested 20-year-old Tremeico Watson on Nov. 4 on the same charges Crawford is facing.
