Petrides 40, Lafayette 35

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Two nights earlier, the Panthers grinded out a hard-fought league victory, behind Terry’s team-high 23 points.

Terry took over offensively, scoring nine of Petrides’ 11 fourth-quarter points.

The game featured constant momentum swings, with neither team able to build much of a lead. Entering the fourth quarter tied, Petrides delivered when it mattered most. The Panthers strung together a decisive 8–0 run late in the final period.

“We switched our defense going into the fourth quarter, and that led to key defensive stops,” said Petrides head coach Jenn Delahanty. “The defensive switch forced turnovers and limited second-chance opportunities.”
