Six teenagers were injured during a shooting outside of a New York City event venue, where they had been attending a birthday party.
The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. on Dec. 14 outside Burbuja Events in Brooklyn, according to multiple reports.
The victims were at the event space to celebrate a 16th birthday party, per CBS News, and the party ended about 20 minutes before the incident.
Two 15-year-old girls, a 15-year-old boy, two 16-year-old boys and a 17-year-old boy were shot, the outlet also reported.

Local newspaper amNewYork stated that one of the 15-year-old girls was shot in the chest, hip and leg, while the other suffered a bullet wound to the right leg.
The 15-year-old boy was shot in the left arm, one of the 16-year-old boys was shot in the right arm and the other was shot in the left foot. The 17-year-old boy, meanwhile, suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg.
The victims were transported to Brookdale University and Kings County hospitals in stable condition, per the outlet.

Police are looking for two male suspects in dark clothing who were captured leaving the scene, according to CBS News and amNewYork.
The investigation is ongoing.
PEOPLE reached out to the New York Police Department for additional information on Dec. 14, but did not immediately hear back.
Burbuja Events told CBS News in a statement that they are fully cooperating with authorities. “We extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by this incident and hope for the swift recovery and safety of all involved,” management added.
Eyewitness Ebony Sanders described the scene of the crime in an interview with amNewYork. “It was a chaotic situation; there were paramedics and police rushing in and bringing people out one by one,” Sanders said. “I’ll say a prayer for everyone involved.”
City Council Member Yusef Salaam said he was “deeply disturbed” by the shooting in a statement on social media.
“My heart is with the victims and their families, and I am relieved they are in stable condition. No young person should ever be harmed in their own neighborhood. We must continue to invest in prevention, youth support, and accountability to keep our communities safe,” he wrote.
