Woman, 58, listed as victim of rape in Manhattan, officials say

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Riley County police were investigating a rape that was reported over the weekend in Manhattan, officials said.

The incident was reported at 12:22 p.m. Saturday at an undisclosed location in Manhattan.

Riley County Police officials listed a 58-year-old woman as the victim and a 63-year-old man who was known to her as the suspect.

Because of the nature of the reported crime, officials said, additional information wasn’t being released as of Monday morning.
