STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The FDNY responded to a fire early Tuesday at a home in Grasmere.

The fire was reported at 1:11 a.m. on the second floor of a home at 4 Marie Street between W. Fingerboard Road and Parkinson Avenue, according to a spokesperson for the FDNY and EMS.

About 60 fire and EMS personnel in 12 units brought the blaze under control in less than a half-hour, at 1:39 a.m.

No injuries were reported in the fire that remains under investigation, according to the spokesperson.
