Authorities are investigating after suspicious devices were found on the third floor of a Brooklyn walk-up where a fire was reported earlier Tuesday, according to police.
A call about the fire on the fourth floor of a building on Keap Street in Williamsburg came in around 11:30 a.m. Once the fire was out, firefighters found the devices, police said.
They didn’t immediately elaborate on the nature of the devices.
One civilian was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
It took less than an hour to contain the fire, the FDNY said.
Video posted to the Citizen app showed smoke billowing from the top floor.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
