WAWARSING, N.Y. — A Napanoch man suffered injuries in a two-car crash at the intersection of U.S. Route 209 and George Young Boulevard, state police said Tuesday.
At 3:25 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, Emily A. Pommerencke, 32, of Kerhonkson, was driving a 2010 Toyota and failed to see a northbound 2010 Nissan driven by Jose A. Martinez, 66, of Napanoch, police said. As Martinez turned left from Route 209 onto George Young Boulevard, his Nissan was struck by Pommererencke’s Toyota, police said.
Martinez was taken to Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown. No other injuries were reported, police said.
