As he heads off to what he calls “personal time” in Mexico, Mayor Eric Adams made one last public gesture to define his legacy.
He and his remaining team of deputies held a “time capsule” ceremony, presenting symbols of his four years in office. Deputy Mayor for Housing Adolfo Carrion placed a key in the capsule to represent the housing created under the “City of Yes” zoning reforms.
Carrion joined “Mornings On 1” to discuss the ceremony and what it symbolizes about Adams’ tenure.
