BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — The NYPD released photos on Wednesday of the suspected gunmen involved in a Sweet 16 birthday party shooting that injured six teens.
Police are asking for the community’s help in locating the two masked suspects who are believed to have opened fire on the teenagers outside of the Burbuja Events venue just after 1 a.m. on Sunday.
No victims were killed in the Atlantic Avenue shooting.
Newly obtained surveillance images show who police believe are the gunmen, masked and wearing hats and hoodies. The men appeared to talk on the phone and watch the location from across the street before opening fire and fleeing into the darkness.
They are believed to have run off northbound on Ashford Street, according to police.
