Cruz Beckham has extended another olive branch to estranged brother Brooklyn on Wednesday as he shared more throwback snaps on Instagram.

Brooklyn is expected to spend Christmas with actress wife Nicola Peltz and her parents at their sprawling Miami compound, while Sir David, his wife Victoria and their three remaining children celebrate together in the United Kingdom.

But Cruz, 20, made sure once again that Brooklyn knows he was thinking of him as he shared a sweet snap of the pair with brother Romeo on the beach in Brazil

Influencer Brooklyn was seen wrapping his arm around his youngest brother Cruz as they posed on the beach.

Cruz also shared a selfie as a child posing with Christ the Redeemer as well as a more recent photo.

It comes days after Cruz shared a home video clip of himself and Brooklyn as children over the weekend.

It appears to be the first time since the family feud deepened that Cruz has shared a picture of his brother on his social media.

The influencer and his wife are at the heart of a spiralling family feud that has resulted in their absence from all of his family’s key events over the past year – among them Sir David’s milestone 50th birthday celebration and recent investiture.

Sources close to the family say their eldest son’s absence is ‘taking its toll’, particularly after he missed out on watching the sportsman receive his knighthood and his American soccer franchise Inter Miami win the MLS title.

In a possible attempt at reconciliation, Sir David appeared to reach out to Brooklyn over social media as he shared a throwback picture with his sons

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday evening, the former footballer shared a photo of himself, Victoria, Romeo, Cruz and Harper celebrating his MLS title in Miami – but included in the post was also a throwback snap of David with Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz after winning the same cup as a player with LA Galaxy in 2011 and 2012

‘License to cry,’ he captioned the collage, as he marked the occasion with his family after making history as the first person to win the MLS Cup both as a player with Los Angeles Galaxy and as an owner.

Sir David and Lady Beckham, who are also parents to Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and  daughter Harper, 14, have been without their son for some time, with Brooklyn keeping to his wife Nicola Peltz’s family while the Beckhams remain in the UK.

And Brooklyn’s grandmother Jackie suggested she was keen for him to come home over the festive period by publicly sharing a picture of his personalised stocking hanging from her fireplace

Taking to Instagram, Victoria shared a video of her mother’s festive display, tastefully arranged across a stone chimney breast in her front room.

Pinned above the hearth, identical red stockings for Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper are evident, alongside their numerous cousins – among them Liberty, Tallulah, Finlay and Quincy, the four children Victoria’s younger sister Louise shares with her ex-husband, Darren Flood.

Captioning the video, the former Spice Girl wrote: ‘So many grandchildren!’

Friends of the Beckham family say that Jackie – and Sir David’s mum Sandra – are ‘very sad’ at the rift that means they no longer see, especially because they were always so close.

Jackie spent a lot of time with Brooklyn when he was a baby and young toddler because Sir David and Victoria were still working away a lot. Sources say that Brooklyn was always so happy to see the two women at the many Beckham family get togethers.

‘David and Victoria are making peace with not having Brooklyn around, they are sad but they are having to accept it,’ says the source familiar with the fall out.

‘But it’s the grandmothers. They adore Brooklyn, they were so, so close to him. He loved them so much, he adored them in fact, but now they don’t see him.

But speculation was rife the family could be reunited for the holidays last week, after Victoria's mother Jackie hung Brooklyn's personalised stocking on her fireplace, hinting that her grandson could be coming home for Christmas

Brooklyn (pictured with Jackie) has been notably absent from every key family event over the course of the year – among them his father’s milestone 50th birthday celebration

‘They’re not getting any younger and the cold truth of it all is that nobody knows when they will see Brooklyn next. It’s Jackie and Sandra who everyone feels so sorry for amongst the whole family schism.’

Tensions came to a head in May when he and Nicola snubbed his father’s 50th celebrations and Cruz and Romeo unfollowed him on Instagram, before the couple renewed their wedding vows without informing or inviting any of his family.

Sources say that both Jackie and Sandra were ‘very surprised’ to see that Brooklyn and wife Nicola had renewed their wedding vows earlier this year without telling them.

The couple were also absent as Victoria celebrated the launch of her Netflix docuseries with family members in October.
