STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Staten Island Philharmonic’s annual Festipalooza Concert is set for Saturday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m., at Tottenville High School.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, is being conducted by veteran Philharmonic conductor Simeon Loring.
The roster will include “A Jubilant Hanukkah,” by Dr. Howard Fox, holiday songs ranging from “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch!” to “The Hallelujah Chorus,” sung by Brooklyn’s Dyker Singers, plus music for Winter Solstice and Kwanzaa.
Soprano Jeannine Otis, baritone Larry Marshall, and alto saxophonist Barry Nudelman will be featured soloists.
Marshall will also narrate a musical arrangement of “The Night Before Christmas.”
