The Powerball jackpot continues to grow after nobody won the $1.27 billion jackpot, but the good news is that there were three tickets worth $1 million each sold across New York, including one in the Hudson Valley, NY.
Most of us have dreamed about winning a massive lottery jackpot once or twice, right? A recent survey said that almost half (49%) of all Americans who play the lottery believe that they will win a big jackpot at some point. Unfortunately, nobody won Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot, which stood at a whopping $1.27 billion, but there were three winning tickets worth $1 million each that were sold at stores across New York.

Three New Yorkers are new millionaires after matching five of the six numbers drawn in Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot drawing. The winning numbers were 25-33-53-62-66 and the Powerball 17.

Each of the winning tickets missed the massive jackpot by one number, the all-important Powerball, but they did each win $1 million before taxes and withholdings, according to the New York Lottery.
Winning Tickets Sold at Three New York Stores
A $1 million winning ticket was sold on Long Island at the GNP Priyal Corp Convenience Store located at 201 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont, NY. A second winning ticket was sold at the Astoria Fuel and Convenience Store located at 30-02 Astoria Boulevard in Astoria, NY.

The third winning ticket was sold in Orange County, NY, at the Smokes 4 Less store at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh, NY. The Powerball jackpot is now expected to climb to $1.50 billion for the Saturday (12/20/25) drawing, making it the fifth-largest jackpot of all time.
Powerball numbers are drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
