A 12-year-old boy was clinging to life following a vicious stabbing inside a Brooklyn park Thursday, cops said.
The child was stabbed in the chest just steps from the Betsy Head Park playground at Thomas S. Boyland St. and Dumont Ave. in Brownsville around 2:53 p.m., police said.
Medics rushed the teen to surgery at Brookdale University Hospital in critical but stable condition, cops said.

A kitchen knife was recovered and two juvenile boys were taken into custody for questioning after the attack, according to a law enforcement source.
Within a police cordon erected around the crime scene, a purple backpack, a winter coat and bloody clothes were spotted next to a kitchen knife Thursday afternoon.
No arrests have been made.
