Two people have been arrested in New York after a car chase that began in Vermont.New York State Police said they were notified on Dec. 11 about a pursuit in progress and spotted the suspected vehicle on Route 22 in Berlin, which is in Rensselaer County.Troopers followed the vehicle but eventually lost sight of it. The vehicle was later found abandoned on South Main Street.Two suspects, Matthew Flanagan, of Shushan, NY and Sara Klebbe of Hoosick Falls, NY, were found and arrested by troopers. Flanagan was charged with drug possession and Klebbe was charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia and vehicle violations for allegedly leaving the scene of a crash.Klebbe was ordered to be held pending extradition to Vermont, while Flanagan was released under supervision.
