STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A man’s head and torso were found dumped inside a trash bag outside a Brooklyn residence early Friday morning, according to a report by the New York Post.

As indicated in the report, the remains were found discarded on a sidewalk near 557 E. 21st St. in the borough’s Flatbush section around 9:14 a.m.

Sources reportedly told the Post that a complaint was first made to 311 for a “foul odor” coming from apartment 6F; the call was then rerouted to 911.

The building superintendent allegedly saw the dead man’s boyfriend placing the bags outside the residence before the body was found, sources reportedly told the Post.
