The New York Giants are two weeks away from ending another dreadful season and are poised to pick in the top 10 of the 2026 NFL draft. Should they lose in Week 17 against the Las Vegas Raiders, they would likely land the No. 1 overall selection.
If that were to come to fruition, the Giants are expected to trade down and accumulate additional draft stock with quarterback Jaxson Dart already entrenched in his role. But there are still an abundance of areas Big Blue must address, given their weak roster and its lacking depth.
With Bowl season now in full swing, Giants scouts have just one opportunity remaining to take notes on the best players for each team. They will continue those duties on Tuesday, with three Bowl games being played.
Here is a quick breakdown of the players the Giants should have their eyes on today.
Boca Raton Bowl: Toledo vs. Louisville
Player spotlight: Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren

The Giants are almost certain to address the safety position this offseason, given the regression of Tyler Nubin and limited depth behind he and Jevon Holland. Dane Belton remains in tow, but New York must improve at the position.
The 6-foot-2, 202-pound McNeil-Warren is a hard-hitting fourth-year star who is eager to showcase his talents and improve his value down in Boca Raton. He is a willing and successful run-stopper with good instincts, who can also match up well with tight ends in coverage.
McNeil-Warren is a little slow in his recovery and must improve his tackling at the NFL level, but his weaknesses are very limited. He is projected as high as a late-first-round pick and as low as a third-round pick. A big game against Louisville could help solidify him as a Round 1 pick.

Injury note: Louisville wide receiver Chris Bell, a projected first-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft, suffered a torn ACL and will not play in this game.
New Orleans Bowl: Western Kentucky vs. Southern Miss
Player spotlight: Southern Miss cornerback Josh Moten
It’s a given that the Giants will address the cornerback position this offseason. Deonte Banks has firmly established himself as a bust, and while Cor’Dale Flott and Dru Phillips (nickel) have talent, it’s not enough. New York not only needs a true starter to pair with Paulson Adebo, but they also need quality depth.
Josh Moten, a likely Day 3 pick, could be that guy.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Moten has elite ball tracking skills, and his speed (4.43 40) only adds to his resume. However, at the NFL level, Moten will have to bulk up a bit and add muscle to his frame or be boxed out against the league’s more physical receivers, especially in the NFC East.
Somewhat of a developmental talent, Moten is a player a good coaching staff (and training staff) can mold over a two-to-three-year span.
Other players of note:
Western Kentucky OG Laurence SeymoreSouthern Miss RB Rodrigues ClarkFrisco Bowl: UNLV vs. Ohio
Player spotlight: UNLV wide receiver Troy Omeire
The Giants are in desperate need of a talented outside receiver to pair with Malik Nabers, and while they are unlikely to find that during Tuesday’s slate of games, they could undercover some solid depth.
UNLV wideout Troy Omeire possesses impressive size at 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, but his 4.59 40-yard dash speed could become problematic at the NFL level. He also ran a limited route tree in 2025 and struggled to gain yards after the catch.
What Omeire does bring to the table is good ball-tracking skills and the ability to high-point a pass and take it away from a defender. He isn’t afraid to catch the ball over the middle or take big hits, and his hands are reliable. Don’t expect many drop issues from him.
Omeire is a projected Day 3 pick or UDFA.
