STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking the public for help identifying three individuals sought for questioning in connection to the alleged gang assault of a 40-year-old man on Staten Island.

According to police, the attack happened in the vicinity of Clove Road and Giles Place in Grasmere around 3:14 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21.

At that time, the victim was approached by three unknown individuals. A verbal dispute ensued and then two of the individuals punched the man while a third threw a cup containing an unknown liquid at him, as alleged by the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information’s Office.

The victim collapsed to the ground and one of the individuals allegedly stomped on his head.

As a result, the victim suffered facial injuries and was taken to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze in stable condition.

The three unidentified individuals allegedly fled the scene on foot and traveled westbound on Clove Road to parts unknown, according to the NYPD.

The first individual sought for questioning is a male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a yellow sweater and a dark-colored jacket.

The second individual sought for questioning is a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a light-colored knit hat and a dark-colored jacket.

The third individual sought is described by police as a female with a dark complexion. She was last seen wearing a light-colored jacket and a blue face mask.

Media showing the sought individuals was released by the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information’s Office.
