Joe Rogan wasn’t having any of it after former President Bill Clinton said that someone was being “protected” in the redacted release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
“What the Department of Justice has released so far and the manner in which it did so, makes one thing clear: someone or something is being protected,” Clinton said through a spokesperson as the files were released to the public, the New York Post reported.
Said Clinton, “We do not know whom, what or why. But we do know this: We need no such protection.”
Photos showed the former two-term Democratic president in chummy poses with Epstein, a child sex offender and accused child sex trafficker who later died by suicide in jail.

Rogan on his “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast scoffed at Clinton’s line about needing “no such protection.”
“This is like the killer pretending to be the detective,” Rogan joked. “‘We have got to solve this crime. We do not know who!’”
“This is the killer joining the search party,” replied comedian Tom Segura, who was Rogan’s guest on the podcast episode.
Alluding to the hot-tub photo, Rogan quipped, “We’ve got photos of you in a hot tub, buddy.”
The popular podcaster and UFC commentator then speculated that Clinton’s statement could mean that “a deal was made” to shield the former commander-in-chief from the Epstein files’ release.
“If you release a press release like that, it means the call went well,” Rogan claimed. “You got a deal in. ‘Whew, we’re good! All we have to do is let him run for a third term.’”
Rogan continued by suggesting that the lengthy delay in releasing the Epstein files could mean that the files were altered or generated through the use of AI.
