Cops are on the hunt for the brute who violently beat a man with a baseball bat on an Upper West Side street earlier this week.

The NYPD released images Wednesday morning of the perpetrator behind the heinous attack, which occurred near West End Avenue and West 107th Street at about 10:35 p.m. on Dec. 21.

Police reported that the suspect approached the victim, a 24-year-old man, and repeatedly struck him multiple times in the face with the baseball bat. The motive for the assault was not disclosed.

Following the bloody assault, law enforcement sources said, the perpetrator fled on foot westbound on West 107th Street toward Riverside Park.

The incident was reported to the 24th Precinct. EMS rushed the wounded man to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital for treatment of multiple facial injuries; he was listed in stable condition.

Police described the suspect as a man with a light complexion and a slim build, standing about 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, including a black bubble jacket, and carrying a black baseball bat.
