STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island woke up Saturday morning to snow, though the accumulation was not as heavy as initially forecast.
Across the borough, residents noticed varying amounts of snow, with some areas seeing a light dusting while others reported slightly more coverage.
The Advance reported earlier that there was 2.5 inches in Midland Beach as of 6:30 a.m. Snow continued to fall through the morning, capping off around 10 a.m.
