A 27-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the chest in bustling Midtown Manhattan on Sunday night — as the shooter remains on the lam, according to authorities.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was shot in the chest around 10:13 p.m. at 57th Street and Sixth Avenue, according to the NYPD.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not immediately clear, and no arrests have been made, cops said.
