THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A person was killed and three others were displaced after a fire consumed a NYCHA complex in the Bronx early Tuesday, according to officials.

The FDNY said flames broke out in an apartment on Burke Avenue around 3:15 a.m. More than 60 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene, according to fire officials.

The FDNY said a person was found dead inside the home. Two adults and a child were also displaced, according to the Red Cross.

The fire was under control by 4 a.m., according to fire officials. Fire marshals are investigating the cause.
