BROOKLYN, NY — A subway rider was slashed multiple times at a Brooklyn subway station on Monday, police said on Tuesday.

The incident happened at the 53rd Street subway station in Sunset Park around 1 p.m.

Officers found a 33-year-old man with multiple slash wounds on his body. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

26-year-old Caleb Polidore was arrested after the incident and has since been charged with assault, weapons possession, menacing and harassment.
