Brooklyn Beckham has avoided questions about his mother after the release of the Victoria Beckham Netflix documentary.

Rumours have swirled about a rift between Brooklyn and his family after the 26-year-old was notably absent from a number of high-profile family events.

The 26-year-old has been hosting the Blue Moon Burger Bash 2.0 in New York.

While answering questions on camera, Brooklyn was surprised by a curveball about his mother’s documentary.

Audiences watching had questioned why the tell-all documentary didn’t feature Brooklyn, aside from archive footage of his childhood.

The rumours of a potential feud were worsened when Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz did not attend the documentary’s premiere.

When challenged by a reporter from the Daily Mail on the subject, Brooklyn refused to answer.

The reporter asked: “What do you think of your mum’s documentary?” before Brooklyn strode off.

He can be seen returning back inside the event, which he was hosting with celebrity chef Rachael Ray to promote his new hot sauce brand, Cloud23.

Earlier this month, Brooklyn was also absent from the launch event of Victoria’s new collection at Paris Fashion Week – despite it being attended by husband David Beckham and Brooklyn’s siblings: Harper, Cruz and Romeo.

Sources have claimed that Victoria was done “fighting the fight” in the rumoured rift with Brooklyn, and now wants to build a bridge over it.

An insider told the Mirror: “Enough is enough. It was very much a roller coaster of emotions because of the big thing that’s still affecting her, her fractured relationship with Brooklyn.

“But it also made her realise that she can’t keep raking over the heartbreak of this situation with him.”

“She knows he will, one day, come back to her, but it’s just not the right time; that’s how she’s looking at it now.

“This project has made her realise how blessed she is to have her family around her and supporting her.”

Brooklyn responded to allegations in the Daily Mail, saying: “There’s always going to be people saying negative things, but I have a very supportive wife.”

Also accused of ‘snubbing’ brother Romeo on his 23rd birthday last month, he said: “Me and her, we just do our thing; we just keep our heads down and work. And we’re happy.

“Everyone is always going to say rubbish. I just try and do this – play some golf with some friends. It’s good fun.”
