If you’re planning to take the ferry into New York City, be sure to check the schedule before you hit the road.
Ferry service operated by NY Waterway is operating on a modified schedule Wednesday and Thursday this week for the New Year holiday.
Normal operations will resume on Friday.
The following routes will run on modified schedules:

Hoboken 14th & Lincoln Harbor to Midtown/ W39th
Paulus Hook & Hoboken/NJT to Midtown/ W 39th
Hoboken/NJT to Brookfield Place
Hoboken/NJT to Pier 11/Wall St.
Paulus Hook to Brookfield Place
Liberty Harbor & Paulus Hook to Pier 11/Wall St.
Port Liberté to Pier 11/Wall St.
South Amboy to Pier 11, Brookfield Place and Midtown/ W 39th
Haverstraw to Ossining
Newburgh to Beacon Bus
The NYC Bus will operate on a modified schedule.
The NJ shuttle will not operate on this day.
New Year’s Day:
Weehawken/Port Imperial to Midtown/ W 39th
Hoboken 14th & Lincoln Harbor to Midtown/ W39th
No other ferries will operate on this day.
The NYC Bus will operate on a modified schedule.
The NJ shuttle will not operate on this day.
Children under age 12 ride the ferry free through Jan. 4.
