New York’s famed Prince St. Pizza is coming to Texas, and it is making its debut right here in Dallas.
The pizza concept famous for Sicilian-style square pies is set to open its first Lone Star State location at 2820 N. Henderson Ave. The chain will occupy the space previously held by the original Fireside Pies location, which closed in 2023.
Hungry patrons will not have to wait much longer, as Prince St. Pizza is set to open its doors on October 24.
Founded in 2012 by brothers Frank and Dominic Morano, the duo continues to use the recipe that has been in their family for “generations,” according to a description on their website.
Customers can grab Sicilian “SoHo” squares or original Neapolitan pizza. Expect fresh ingredients and handcrafted sauces prepared daily from scratch.
To help mirror its New York origins, Prince St. even replicates the Big Apple’s filtration process to ensure the dough comes out with the same texture, regardless of where the pies are sold.
Their signature Sicilian-style pizza is the Spicy Spring, which comes topped with fra diavolo sauce and thick-cut pepperoni baked to curl up its edges.
Most of the pizzas on offer are available by the slice or as a whole pie. Massive slices range from around 6$ to $7 each.
In addition to pizza, Prince St. serves up Caesar and Italian chopped salads, smoked mozzarella sticks, and a variety of cakes, including red velvet cake, cheesecake, and an Italian layer cake complete with the colors of the Italian flag underneath a chocolate frosting.
“Dallas has always felt like the right fit for Prince St. Pizza. The Henderson area has a history of bringing people together over great food, and we’re looking forward to contributing to that tradition by serving a good old-fashioned New York slice in the heart of the city,” said CEO Lawrence Longo in a statement, per CultureMap Dallas.
The soon-to-open Dallas location will be Prince St. Pizza’s 17th location.
