Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez discussed the current crime statistics in Brooklyn and says the borough has reached an all-time low the past few years.
He talks about gangs and gun trafficking and shared what his office is doing to prevent violence and prosecute offenders.
Gonzalez also explained what the conviction review unit does, saying it helps right the wrongful convictions that have occurred over the years.
He also details the 81 new ADA’s he personally helped hire and train and how they will help bring criminal offenders to justice in Brooklyn.
