New York State Police are asking the public for help identifying a larceny suspect.
Troopers say an unidentified male suspect was captured on surveillance footage inside the Walmart on State Route 3 in Watertown, Jefferson County, last week. Police said he left the store without paying for merchandise.
Additional details, including what items he allegedly stole and how much they were worth, were not disclosed.
NYS police released a photo of the suspect wearing a tan/brown jacket and hat with what appears to be a green camouflage-colored backpack. The image was timestamped 6:24 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025.
