STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — While the Staten Island Children’s Museum increased general admission tickets to $10 starting Jan. 1, it is also expanding access through new year-round discounts and free admission opportunities.
The museum, located at Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden, will offer active military families year-round admission discounts.
Grandparents will receive 50% off general admission on weekdays. Membership rates will also increase beginning in January.
The museum has also rejoined the Bank of America Museums on Us program for 2026.
On the first weekend of each month, Bank of America, Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank cardholders can receive one free general admission by presenting a valid debit or credit card and government-issued photo ID.
Bank employees may also receive free admission with valid proof of employment and photo ID. The program joins other free admission opportunities including Cool Culture and SNAP EBT access.
