Yisroel and Chaya Green from Crown Heights had the first baby born in the new year 2026 at Staten Island University Hospital.
The happy moment was even more special as the baby’s grandparents, Rabbi Shimmy and Shternie Althaus, and their son Yossi Althaus, flew in for the joyous occasion after surviving the Bondi Chanukah attack.
