If you’re among those who like to keep your tree through the full twelve days of Christmas (day twelve is this coming Tuesday, January 6) or longer, Mulchfest continues at Brooklyn Bridge Park through Sunday, January 11. If you go on one of the chipping days, January 10 or 11, you may take home a bag of mulch (photo) for your garden or a street tree bed. See here for drop off locations and times.
