Nicolas Maduro and Wife Detained at Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center

Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and his wife were brought to the Metropolitan Detention Center, the federal detention facility in Brooklyn.

A motorcade linked to Maduro’s transport was spotted near the headquarters of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), after which the convoy returned to the helipad on Manhattan.

Maduro and his wife were airlifted by helicopter to the Metropolitan Detention Center.

Three helicopters flew along the Hudson River, past the Statue of Liberty, and later landed on the MDC grounds.

Additionally, a plane carrying the detained Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores arrived at Stewart National Guard Base in New York.
