The New York Giants closed their 2025 season with a 34-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 18 at MetLife Stadium, finishing at 4-13 with back-to-back wins.

Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart impressed in his finale, going 22-of-32 for 230 yards and two touchdowns, including a highlight-reel 29-yard backhanded flip to tight end Daniel Bellinger and a 13-yard score to running back Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Tracy rushed for 103 yards, while Devin Singletary added a six-yard touchdown. Kicker Ben Sauls hit four field goals, and linebacker Bobby Okereke’s interception set up a score.

The Cowboys, resting starters in the second half, scored via Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah but couldn’t keep pace.

The late wins, however, hurt the Giants’ draft position, dropping them lower in the top five after holding the projected No. 1 pick just two weeks ago.

After taking over in Dallas territory, the Giants’ offense would not be denied in the red zone this time, as running back Devin Singletary rumbled in for a six-yard touchdown run, capping off a six-play, 33-yard drive.

Giants giveth, Giants taketh away

After losing an earlier fumble (Tyrone Tracy Jr.), the Giants got one back with linebacker Bobby Okereke interception a Joe Milton pass, giving the offense the football on the Dallas 33-yard line.

Injury alert: CB Rico Payton

Cornerback Rico Payton is being evaluated for a concussion.

Trick play fails

With the offense back on the field, New York was piecing together another long drive — one littered with penalties — but a trick play (Gunner Olzsewski reverse pass to Christ Manhertz) failed, leaving kicker Ben Sauls to connect on a 30-yard field goal, capping an 11-play, 61-yard drive.

Cowboys back on the board

After recovering a Tyrone Tracy Jr. fumble, the Cowboys’ offense took over and promptly drove 69 yards on 10 plays, capping things off with a one-yard Phil Mafah run — the first touchdown of his career.

Following the score, another small scrum involving nose tackle Dexter Lawrence broke out, but no penalties were assessed.

Tracy fumble

One play after Cowboys edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney forced a Jaxson Dart fumble (recovered by Dart), he was in the right place at the right time, recovering a Tyrone Tracy fumble at the Dallas 31-yard line.

Injury alert: LB Darius Muasau

Giants linebacker Darius Muasau suffered an ankle injury midway through the third quarter and is listed as questionable to return.

Donovan Ezeiruaku ejected

Cowboys defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku was ejected after a scuffle broke out following a Jaxson Dart touchdown pass. He ripped the helmet off offensive lineman Greg Van Roten, leading to the disqualification.

More Dart magic

After forcing a Cowboys three-and-out, Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart took over and continued his magical day, driving the offense downfield for 62 yards on six plays, capping things off with a 13-yard pass to running back Tyrone Tracy Jr.

New York subsequently went for a two-point conversion following a penalty, and running back Devin Singletary, out of the wildcat, connected with wide receiver Darius Slayton in the endzone.

Endzone. Finally.

After taking over from the Cowboys on downs, Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart engineered a masterful drive, complete with big-time throws and some classic improvisation. A near-sack, underhanded flip to tight end Daniel Bellinger resulted in a 29-yard touchdown to cap off an 11-yard, 96-yard drive.

Turnover on downs

Dallas got aggressive with time winding down in the second quarter and opted to go for it on fourth-and-2 from the Giants’ three-yard line. Cornerback Rico Payton, who took over for the benched Deonte Banks, stepped up and batted a pass away that was intended for wide receiver George Pickens.

Injury alert: LB Brian Burns

Linebacker Brian Burns suffered an apparent ankle injury during a near-sack of Dak Prescott late in the second quarter and left the field with trainers to get re-tapped.

Offense stalls again

The Giants are struggling in the red zone against the Cowboys, with another drive — a balanced 11-play, 61-yard drive — stalling inside the 10-yard line. Instead, New York was forced to settle for a 23-yard Ben Sauls field goal.

Injury alert: OL Jermaine Eluemunor

Right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor briefly left Sunday’s game, replaced by Jamed Hudson for one snap, to get his ankle taped. He is back on the field.

Run defense crumbles

Mere moments after Art Green saved a touchdown with a key special teams tackle, the Giants’ run defense wilted (again), surrendering a Jaydon Blue 14-yard touchdown run up the middle, capping a two-play, 11-yard drive.

Touchdown-saving tackle

For the second time in this game, cornerback Art Green made a standout play on special teams, this time preventing a touchdown.

Giants offense stalls

After a nice kick return from Deonte Banks and a big pass from quarterback Jaxson Dart to wide receiver Gunner Olzsewski, the Giants’ offense stalled inside the red zone (sack). Kicker Ben Sauls was left to connect on a 35-yard field goal, capping off an eight-play, 44-yard drive.

Cowboys tie it up

After getting gashed by the Cowboys’ ground attack for much of their drive, the Giants’ defense stiffened inside the red zone and forced a 22-yard Brandon Aubrey chipshot to cap off a nine-play, 61-yard drive.

Giants on the board

Despite being gifted fantastic field position, the Giants’ offense could do nothing with it. They promptly went three-and-out, capping off a four-play, two-yard drive with a 45-yard Ben Sauls field goal.

Giants 3, Cowboys 0

Fumble!

On a first-and-10, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott fumbled the snap out of his break, which was recovered by linebacker Bobby Okereke.

Art Green shines

After being forced to punt from the Cowboys’ 49-yard line, Jamie Gillan dropped the ball at the 1-yard line, and cornerback Art Green appeared to down it at the goal line. Initially, officials called it a touchdown, but replay assist reversed the call on the field.

Cowboys win the toss

The Cowboys won the opening coin toss and opted to defer. The Giants will start on offense, and Dallas will receive the second-half kickoff.
