BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (PIX11) — One person is dead after being hit by a subway train in Brooklyn Sunday night, according to officials.

The MTA suspended L train service between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues and Atlantic Avenue in either direction while emergency crews responded to the scene at the Bushwick Avenue-Aberdeen Street station.

Canarsie-bound trans were delayed due to the suspension of service, according to the MTA.

The NYPD responded to the report of a person struck by a train at 6:15 p.m., where an unidentified man was found dead on the southbound L train tracks.

Police are investigating the incident.
