BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A fire ripped through a brownstone Brooklyn apartment building on Monday.

The FDNY responded to the reported third-floor fire at 62 Pierrepont St. in Brooklyn Heights at 3:24 p.m., officials said.

Video on Citizen showed smoke and fire pouring out of the third-story windows as crews worked to put out the blaze.

It took 21 units to battle the flames, with nearly 80 fire and EMS personnel on the scene.

According to the FDNY, two people were evaluated on-site. Operations remain ongoing.
