George Conway, an attorney and prominent critic of President Donald Trump, on Tuesday launched his congressional campaign Tuesday with an ad focused on his adversarial relationship with the president.
Conway, a Republican who switched to the Democratic party, will enter the crowded primary to replace retiring US Rep. Jerry Nadler (D). The district spans both the Upper West Side and Upper East Side of Manhattan and heavily favors Democrats. The winner of the June primary would be the overwhelming favorite in the November general election .
