EAST NEW YORK — AN AMBULANCE CRASH in East New York on Sunday night left the vehicle overturned and four people injured, on Stanley Avenue between Linwood and Essex streets, according to News 12. 

Sources said the ambulance involved was operated by a private company, though the circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately disclosed.

Emergency crews treated the injured following the incident. As of Monday morning, the condition of those hurt had not been released, police said. Investigators are expected to review the cause of the crash, including speed, road conditions and possible mechanical factors.

Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
