That’s what the upcoming 2026 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships will help determine, as multiple men’s and women’s skaters will put their skills on the ice.

Both national titles and spots on the Olympics team are on the line, though the latter won’t be official until the final day of the event. In total, three men, three women, two pairs teams, and three ice dance teams will be selected.

Ilia Malinin is the key name to watch on the men’s side, as the 21-year-old has been undefeated for over two years and is a heavy favorite to book his spot to become an Olympian. Alysa Liu, the reigning champion, has also returned to form after a brief retirement period following Beijing.

Madison Chock and Evan Bates headline in ice dance, as the two are three-time world champions and three-time Grand Prix Final champions after 15 years competing together.
