STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Staten Island Ferry is experiencing delays during the Wednesday morning rush hour.
Ferryboats are running about every 20 minutes on a modified schedule, according to Notify NYC.
Officials did not list a cause for the delay, but Notify NYC posted a special weather statement warning of fog until 8 a.m.
“Fog will impact this morning’s commute as the visibility will be reduced to around a half of a mile in several areas,” according to Notify NYC. “Fog may become locally dense with the visibility down to a quarter of a mile or less.”
