Police are looking for the person who stabbed a man in the middle of Times Square early Wednesday.
Officials responding to a call at West 40th Street and Seventh Avenue shortly before 2 a.m. found the 30-year-old man stabbed in the back. He also had been slashed in the neck.
The man was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK.
Police are looking for a man wearing a black jacket and khaki pants in connection with the case. They say one person of interest is in custody.
No other details were immediately available.
