Among the holiday stickers still up in Rowdella Smith’s apartment, fly traps are her newest decoration.

“I got those fly things all over my house, and I have to go get more because they fill up,” said Smith.

Smith told News 12 on Monday a fly problem started two months ago at 1138 Teller Ave. in Concourse Village.

The building’s management completed two treatments in her apartment, but after a few days the flies came back.

“And it bothers me because I don’t want to catch anything,” she said.

Other tenants on the same floor also living through the nightmare.

“Kill that one, next thing I know there’s 12,” said 73-year-old David Gray.

Smith said she is planning a third apartment treatment in hopes of finally putting away the bleach and fly traps.

News 12 reached out to the building’s management and is waiting for a response.
