Mariann from Brooklyn may soon have to change her name to Mariann from Hollywood.

As Howard revealed on Monday, the longtime caller and friend of the show has a substantial part in the critically acclaimed new film “Marty Supreme,” which stars Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Tyler, the Creator, among others.

“The very first scene [has] Mariann from Brooklyn,” Howard told his listeners. “And she’s really good in it.”

“Really?” co-host Robin Quivers marveled.

“Excellent,” Howard responded.

Phoning into the show to discuss her big-screen debut, Mariann told Howard she was offered the part of a shoe store customer by director Josh Safdie, who is “a big fan of the [Stern] Show.” She then went on to do a 12-hour shoot with Chalamet, who plays an aspiring table tennis champion named Marty Mauser.

With the success of “Mary Supreme” — nominated for Best Motion Picture at this weekend’s Golden Globes — Howard couldn’t help but wonder how far Mariann’s star might rise. “What if [next] you see her on ‘White Lotus’?” he laughed.
