First Lady Melania Trump has a big problem with one of her husband’s signature moves, The Hill reported.

“She hates it when I dance,” President Donald Trump revealed while talking to House members during a GOP retreat on Tuesday.

“She’s a very classy person,” the president said, describing how the first lady wanted him to stop dancing in public.

Trump’s awkward-but-enthusiastic, fist-pumping, hip-gyrating dance, including on stage during political rallies and presidential speeches, has spawned a thousand memes.

But according to Melania, “It’s so unpresidential,” Trump said.

“I said, ‘But I did become president,’” Trump said, drawing laughs from Republican lawmakers.

“She actually said, ‘Could you imagine FDR dancing?’” Trump said, referring to the nation’s revered, 32nd president, who used a wheelchair due to polio.

“And I said, there’s a long history that perhaps she doesn’t know. Because [Roosevelt] was an elegant fellow, even as a Democrat. The attack by Japan. He was quite elegant, but he wouldn’t be doing this, but nor would too many others,” Trump said during a lengthy diatribe in which The Hill said the president mocked and imitated transgender athletes taking part in weightlifting competitions.

Despite the first lady’s criticism, Trump’s dancing has inspired legit imitators, including NFL players who have done the “Trump dance” to celebrate touchdowns.

Trump said he defended his dancing to his wife by pointing to supporters’ fondness for his footwork.

“The dance they really like,” he said he told her.

“She said, ‘They don’t like it. They’re just being nice to you.’”
