Today marks one year since New York City implemented congestion pricing.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul says it has been a record-breaking year for the MTA.

She says subway ridership increased by 7% over last year, while Metro-North saw a 6% increase.

Nearly 1.9 billion trips were taken on the MTA system, which state leaders say is the most since 2015.

Hochul also says the subway and Metro-North broke on-time performance records.
