STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are investigating several robberies reported across Staten Island during the week of Dec. 29 through Jan. 4, according to data released by the NYPD.

During the first week of 2026, five robberies were reported boroughwide, compared to one robbery during the first week of 2025, police data shows.

Here’s a look at the reported robberies, listed from oldest to most recent:

On Dec. 31 at 3 a.m., a residential commercial robbery was reported at Poplar Avenue and Veterans Road East in Rossville.On Jan. 2 at 4 p.m., an open‑area robbery was reported at Richmond and Wainwright avenues in Eltingville. Later that same day at 11 p.m., a commercial robbery was reported at Mosel and Sabel avenues in Grasmere.On Jan. 4 at 9 a.m., a personal electronic device robbery was reported at Mary Street and Park Hill Avenue in Concord. Later that same day at 2 p.m., a residential commercial robbery was reported at Grandview Avenue and Downey Place in Mariners Harbor.
