A photo booth sets the stage for snack time in our exclusive new clip from Queens of the Dead, the feature directorial debut by Tina Romero, the daughter of late horror master George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead).

The glam-gore zombie film shambles into theaters just in time for Halloween on October 24, 2025.

Watch the raucous clip below, which sees a pair plotting social media posts in a photo booth while gnawing on an amusing snack, only to draw the attention of the hungry undead.

“A zombie apocalypse breaks out in Brooklyn on the night of a giant warehouse party, where an eclectic group of drag queens, club kids, and frenemies must put aside their drama and use their unique skills to fight against the brain-thirsty undead,” in Queens of the Dead.

Katy O’Brian (Love Lies Bleeding), Margaret Cho (Fire Island), Jack Haven (I Saw The TV Glow) and Cheyenne Jackson (American Horror Story) star. The cast also includes Nina West (Drag Race), Jaquel Spivey (Mean Girls), Tomas Matos (Fire Island), Quincy Dunn-Baker (No Hard Feelings), Becca Blackwell (Bros), Shaunette Renée Wilson (Black Panther), Dominique Jackson (Pose), Riki Lindhome (Knives Out), and Eve Lindley (Bros).

Romero puts her spin on her father’s zombie legacy with her debut. The filmmaker previously told BD, “I think in general, he had a bit more of a nihilistic view on the world, and perhaps I’m a little bit more of an optimist. This is a zombie movie where I really hope people leave the theater with a pep in their step. Of course, I hope they’re thinking about some things too, because we do tackle the dark stuff of life. I can’t be his kid without making sure there’s some good social commentary in there. I am proud of how it’s a movie that he would not have made.”

“However,” Romero continued, “I hope that people also feel his spirit in there because one of the things that I felt almost a responsibility to, if I was going to play in his sandbox, I want to make sure it’s like a Romero sandbox where you can feel him and you can feel the monster that he created and you can feel his spirit because his spirit is in me. “

Get ready for guts and glitter to spill when Queens of the Dead releases this Friday.
